After not posting for what seems like forever, I’m finally going to try to post some stuff that has been going on in my “exciting” life.
1. I got a job. At Waffle House. Woo.
2. My “little” black cat, Wrex, is no longer little. Son of a bitch is gigantic.
3. I am going to be going back to my home town of DeSoto, Missouri soon (very excited about this!)
4. I owe everyone of you an apology for being so super lame.
So, to get things started…
A couple weeks ago, I had a pregnancy “scare.” Though, I wouldn’t really cause it a scare because I wasn’t scared at all. Turns out, it was just my body trolling the absolute shit out of me. (Caution: Heading into TMI territory) I hadn’t had my period for THREE whole months, and was experiencing symptoms of pregnancy. So, I took pregnancy test after pregnancy test to see if I could get some answers. All were negative, but I was still experiencing symptoms such as morning sickness, heartburn, fatigue, etc. So, I thought that the tests were all just lying to me.
After my appointment with my lovely therapist (the greatest lady ever), who gave me ten dollars to pay for half of a blood pregnancy test, I went to the health department and got stuck with the needle. Fifteen minutes later, the nurse came back out and said it was negative.
I was so upset at this point because I had gotten myself excited about the thought of having a baby. Yes, I am only 21, but I am actually very ready to have a child. I have always had a thing with kids, where even the most out of control ones will listen to me. But anyway, I had gotten fairly depressed about this. After thinking about it for a couple days, I realized that it was going to be better this way because I don’t exactly live the most glamourous life (I work at Waffle House, for christ’s sake…).
So Chris and I have started talking about when we could possibly begin trying. Needless to say, I am beyond excited to even be thinking about this kind of stuff 🙂
P.S. You guys rock for even still hanging out on my page. Again, so sorry for taking so long to post anything new. To make up for it, here’s a picture of my cat that you may have already seen, but it’s still too freaking cute to care if you’ve seen it before.
